ProPakistani Emerged as a Leading IT Blog of Pakistan
Blogging in Pakistan is quickly becoming an industry where a lot of new comers are joining in to make some money online. But let me tell you clearly that it is not that easy as it looks and it takes a lot of efforts, consistency and patience to make some bucks online through blogging.
ProPakistani has become one of the pioneers of professional blogging in Pakistan. It’s a blog about IT industry of Pakistan and it is full of knowledge and latest news. Here is a brief review of ProPakistani written by Mr. Amir Attaa (Administrator of ProPakistani) at Alexa.com

Although its a very nice review but it is written by Administrator himself, so I thought I should also review ProPakistani to acknowledge the great work done. Here is my Review: -
I was astonished to see the traffic rank of ProPakistani at Alexa.com which is 72 in Pakistan and 8501 worldwide. It is the only Pakistani blog ranked in top 100 in Alexa ranking, rest of all are huge websites. ProPakistani has a Google page rank 3 which is OK because it is just one and a half year old blog.
The First Impression
The animated logo of ProPakistani is eye-catching yet sober looking design which gives a very solid first impression of the blog. The logo is perfectly placed between two rows of different categories links which gives reader enough options to select his/her own choice of content. ProPakistani has a very decent theme with green and white combination which highlights the Pakistani identity.
The two column wordpress layout is elegant and it is used brilliantly. Displaying fifteen posts at home page is just a little too much. I think displaying 10 recent posts on home page will look even better. The right panel is mainly used for the purpose of displaying non-google ads where you can see video ads of leading telecom companies in pakistan as well as become a fan on facebook and relevant posts sections.
Sources of Revenue
Most of the bloggers use Adsense as a primary source of income but I guess ProPakistani has found another niche i.e. advertisements from telecom companies. You can witness several advertisements at ProPakistani of telecom companies like Moblink, Zong, WiTribe etc.
Adsense Ad Placement
I really like the ad placement of ProPakistani as you can see only one banner ad at the home page but as soon as you click any post you can see all three ad units at the top, between and below the post. The top ad is very intelligently placed alongside related post which gives the impression that advertisements are the part of the content. The middle ad is also aligned perfectly between the post at the right side. Whereas, the last one is placed right at the end of the post before comments. All these ads are close to the main content which gives high click-through-rate.

I think ProPakistani is a well-planned blog which is executed with perfection. Here is their unique selling point : -
